Nina's First Birthday !!

Our precious second daughter has just turned ONE!!! The year has flown by sooooo quickly and I'm reminded of how grateful I am to be a stay-at-home mom.

The girls are interacting more now and it's wonderful to see them playing together but, the fight's have started too. Ooh la la.......Grace is a super big sister, she even adjusts the tone of her voice when speaking to Nina.....just too cute!!! We were recently at an event hosted by Glynn's company and Grace looked out for her little sister' s best interests when another girl stepped on Nina's hand. The interaction between the 3 girls was rather interesting. I was so proud of Grace for taking care of her little sister.

Nina is growing and changing. She walks, pushes and crawls around. Climbing stairs are her absolute favourite at the moment. Hanging the washing outside has become quite a challenge as Nina endeavours to find every avenue possible to climb the stairs. No amount of blockades will get in her way!!!!! She has me running after her every few seconds. She loves laughing and smiling and will boogie to the beat when she hears music. Nina let's us know when she doesn't want her food by shaking her head adamantly. We're always trying to get her to eat more. She says "bye, mama, dada, amen" and will imitate various sounds, especially the ones her sister makes. She looooves being held and cuddled and is still very attached to her mama. She's such a sweetie!!
