Vacation Bible School
The girls and I participated in VBS last week. My job was to co-ordinate the Nursery for the 0-3 year old's.
I had my reservations about committing to the entire week as I was concerned about how Nina would cope with the long day. She did a sterling job, to my surprise and delight!! It was a complete break-through for my very mama-attached Nina. She ventured and played without me and even enjoyed being carried by others. Yeah!!!!! We had such a sweet group of little ones and we had absolutely fantastic helpers and graduates!!! We could not have done it without them. How blessed we were with a fabulous team!!! Grace had a blast. Her favourite part of the day was the singing and dance sessions. Our Gracie just LOVED it!!! Not afraid to stand up and do her thing. Too precious to see......... We were blessed with good weather too. If you know Belgium, you know you have to count your blessings when the weather's good. Anyway, we had a dry week......no RAIN but SUN, SUN and more SUN. In fact, the temperatures were sooooooo hot that I had to strip Nina down to her diapers and I even brought in a fan from home. All in all, we had a great time learning more about God. The theme this year was "Fear not", our God is powerful, He does what He says He'll do, He is with us, God gives us life and God cares for us. The girls and I continue to enjoy the great music dvd's that go along with VBS. We sing, we dance and have fun.
Looking forward to another VBS year in 2010.
