Teeth and more teeth........

Little Nina now has 6 teeth........4 at the top, 2 at the bottom. She's my little ray of sunshine. Just look at that gorgeous smile!!!!

My Little Chatterbox

Grace is such a talker these days. She amuses us constantly with the things she says.

• Nina just woke from her nap and Grace went down with me to fetch her. Grace goes into the room first and says:

"Nina, why cry?".......pause "stop, stop".......pause"mama coming" Don't you just love the concern she has for her sister.

• Glynn was snuggling Grace in her neck and she says:

"Daddy, don't do that." She's a little too young to not want smoochies from her daddy.

• Glynn and I were at a restaurant while in Holland and Grace decided to go over into the kiddies play area. As I walk by, I hear her say with hands on her hips:

"I'll do it........I'll do it........" Then she looks at the kids who are all chatting in Nederlands and says "I'm going now" and pulls her face at them.

Grace is a precious little honey!!

Latest Stats

Been to the paediatrician today and my girls latest stats are:

Grace is now 13.100 kg and is 90.2cm tall.

Nina is now 7.170k kg and is 67cm tall.

The Latest

Nina had a recent visit to Kind & Gezin for a check-up. She now weighs 6.960 kg and is 65cm long. She has 3 teeth with more on the way. Our little baby is active....... moving herself across distances when on her bottom, she's very talkative...........we're wondering how we're going to keep her quiet when she does start using her words and she has the most incredible smile.........absolutely heartwarming.

Our big girl, Grace, is talking up a storm..........she's connecting more and more words.........oooooppps, we have to watch what we say these days. She's challenging, defiant, testing the boundaries constantly............in a nutshell, she's hard work at the moment. Both girls go to the paediatrician in a week so I'm keen to see what Grace weighs and her height.

Both girls are severely attached to mama these days. They both seem to be going through the seperation anxiety phase at the same time.

And me, I'm doing OK as I work at being a good mother and a supportive wife to my very, very BUSY husband these days.
