Sisters

Grace is now 21 months and Nina 3 months. I enjoy watching Grace as she interacts with Nina. She talks to her, explaining things, she dances with her while holding her hands and bobbing up and down, she lies next to her as she plays with her toys and she loves on her whenever she can. Grace also tries to change her diaper, smelling to see whether she's made a poo or a wee. She tries to feed her with a spoon or a cup and tries to soothe her when she's crying.

I look forward to the time when Grace and Nina will play together. But, for now, I'll enjoy Nina as a baby and Grace as she loves the sister God has given her.

It's been fun having Grace help us decorate the tree this year. It's going to be a special one now that we have 2 little ones to share the joy of the season.

The big 40

I recently celebrated my 40th birthday. I still find it a little hard to believe. I don't feel any differently, it's just the number that's changed.

Glynn kept my birthday gift a complete surprise right up until the very last minute. I was taken to the spa without knowing where I was going and my gift turned out to be 4 wonderful hours of pampering.

Thank you hubby for making me feel loved, special and appreciated!!!

Where has the time gone........

Well, it's been a busy couple of months.

Both Nina and Grace have been sick. Nina now weighs 5,200kg and is 57cm long, she's had her first vaccinations and she loves talking and smiling.

Grace weighs 11,450kg and is 84cm long and she's talking up a storm and testing the boundaries.

We've had our first snowfall for the season and it's proving to be a cold Winter with temperatures averaging below 5 degrees.

We finally have our new camera so the next update will have some pictures of the girls.
