Family Time

Thanks to the Belgian system, Glynn got to spend an entire month with us after Nina was born.
We had a great time just hanging out, bonding, playing, laughing and adjusting to life as a family of 4. Glynn said it was one of the best 'holidays' he's ever had. Of course, we also had to cope with little sleep and the exhaustion of having a newborn in the home. It was such a special time though, for all of us. Grace loved having her "dada" 24/7 and I loved having Glynn around to take the stress away from looking after both Nina and Grace in those early days. I wondered how I would ever cope when Glynn finally went back to work.
Glynn and "dada" we're sooooooo very grateful and thankful to have you!!! We loved spending all our time with you and we miss you!!

Grace on the Potty
We have been so proud of Grace!!! On Wednesday she pooed on the potty and yesterday she got the potty out all by herself and started to take her pants off. She tinkled twice and got quite a fright when the potty started singing back at her. Even I had forgotten the tune played when you make a wee on the potty.
She's a looooong way from being potty trained, but we're just so proud that she's showing the initiative to go on the potty. What a big girl.............
Oh, the things that we get excited about when we become parents........
