Daddy's unexpected trip

Glynn made an unexpected trip to Cape Town, South Africa recently.

It was a sad time. Aunty Shirley had a stroke and the family were called in to say their goodbye's. So, off Glynn flew to be with his godmother.

Since then, however, she's made a miraculous recovery and she continues to make good progress. It's a reminder that our lives are not our own. They are in God's hands and He determines when we enter and when we leave this world.

Aunty Shirley will soon be moved to a rehabilitation centre to help further her recovery.

I'm glad Glynn got to go home. It's so hard being far away from family when sad things happen. We're thankful for her recovery and glad that Glynn got to spend time with her and the rest of the family.

Grace missed her dada though. We're glad to have him back and it gives me great joy to see them play and laugh together. What would we do without "daddies"?

I'm thankful to my earthly father for all his love and especially thankful to my heavenly Father for the blessings He continues to shower on me.
