Grace's Diary
Big news................I have my first tooth!!!!!!! I've been grumpy for the week and now we know why, my pearly whites have made their appearance. Mama bought me a teething ring and that's helped my sore gums a bit. I keep feeling my tooth with my tongue, it feels odd to have something new in my mouth.
I'm now able to get onto my hands and knees and I enjoy rocking back and forth. What's in store for me next............I wonder..............
Belgium's National Day

Belgium celebrated their National Day on 21st. July. Despite the holiday falling on a Saturday, everything was closed.............I'm still trying to get used to the idea of all shops being closed when a holiday falls on a Saturday. It just feels really odd!! I always tend to find out about these things on the last minute, so Friday ends up with me rushing around to make sure we have food and essentials to last us through to the Monday.
Glynn, Grace and I went along to celebrate the occasion. There was a parade and many fun events taking place in the park. We walked from home, downtown, into the city centre, as all the events were on route. It was a good walk and Glynn and I rested our weary feet while having a bite to eat before we trekked back home. It's not far though, it just seemed longer than usual with all the browsing and trying to make our way through some of the crowds.
