French Classes

Well, you're probably wondering how I'm doing in my French classes.

French is a beautiful language, but it's pretty challenging.

I go twice a week, Monday's and Wednesday's from 1-4pm. The classes are long and exhausting. I enrolled at the university and as a consequence the standard's high and my lecturer uses every minute to the max!!! Good you might say, yes, except when his introducing something new 5 minutes before the end of class. The focus is largely on grammar. French has an incredible amount of feminine and masculine forms and when it comes to the conjugation of verbs, boy oh boy!!!!

Sometimes I wonder if it's me just not getting it, or if it's the brain cells that are not at it's peak due to my pregnancy. Anyway, I can say I'm learning an incredible amount and at record-breaking speed.

When I'm having a rough day in class, our little angel kicks and it brings a smile to my face. Then, all is well with the world!!!!!!

Au Revoir,

Robyn

Baby's First Kicks

I felt baby's first movements on 25th September at 16w and 3 days pregnant!! I'd been looking out for signs and when I first felt it, I wasn't quite sure if this was baby or not but after a few days of this "bubble-like" feeling I was convinced this was our little one. Glynn's been longing to feel baby's kick.........Yesterday, baby was quite active and his/her movements were stronger than they'd been previously, so when I told Glynn baby was "talking" he rushed over to place his hand on my growing belly and was greeted by a precious little "kick". What a very special feeling!!
